Classical Evenings

Jean-Michel DUHEZ
Artistic Director of Classical evenings
It is with great pleasure that I accepted Jacqueline Franjou's proposal to succeed Laurent Petigirard at the Classical Nights of the Ramatuelle Festival. Summer festivals are special in that they allow direct contact between the public and the artists. The latter come to meet their public for privileged moments of exchange. The Ramatuelle Festival has a magnificent open-air theatre, which constitutes a formidable setting, giving each of the concerts a unique character. It is in this unique setting that the programme for the 2022 edition will blossom, marked by the voice, this mysterious and magical instrument that expresses all the emotions that music brings. In the course of my various activities, I have always been keen to make classical music accessible to everyone, to show that it is accessible to all of us. I hope that you will have as much pleasure in discovering this programme as I had in creating it. See you this summer for the Classical Nights of the Ramatuelle Festival, in the company of wonderful artists.
